Siemens Healthcare has been awarded the 2013 “Best in KLAS” award for laboratory information systems (LIS) by KLAS, an independent healthcare research firm. This is the sixth consecutive year that NOVIUS Lab has achieved this award, which is given to a vendor or product that scores the highest in its industry segment and provides the broadest operational and clinical impact to healthcare organizations. NOVIUS Lab is a rules-based LIS that helps laboratory professionals manage higher volumes and maintain quality, and is easy to configure to the specific needs of the laboratory environment.
Additionally, Soarian Clinicals earned Category Leader recognition for Acute Care EMR (Community) for the second year in a row. Soarian has experienced recent momentum in community hospital settings.
