05/01/2018

The Red Dot Award
The Red Dot Award is based on an international design competition which has been held each year since 1954 by Design Zentrum Nordrhein Westfalen e.V., one of the oldest, most renowned and active design bodies in Europe.

The "Red Dot" designation is a globally recognized quality seal. It is awarded in the categories of Product Design, Communication Design and Design Concept, and participation in each of the product categories is possible. The international jury is made up of freelance designers, design professors and specialist journalists, all of whom are luminaries in their field.

The "Red Dot" is awarded exclusively to products featuring outstanding, high-quality design and innovation. The "Red Dot" winner's label denotes the best products of the year and is used as a marketing tool, for example on packaging or in advertising. This enables the brand to be associated with exceptional design quality on an ongoing basis.

MAMMOMAT Revelation: See the difference with wide-angle breast tomosynthesis
The unique 50° HD breast tomosynthesis helps users change the way they see breast cancer, because they’ll see it earlier with greater accuracy and speed. It is tomosynthesis reengineered to make the difference in detection, workflow, dose, and precision medicine.

The technology is more powerful, with a unique wider angle scan that increases invasive cancer detection compared to FFDM, to reveal even small lesions.

The workflow is smarter. Breast density is accurately measured right at the point of care, with risk assessed before the patient leaves the exam. One-click targeting for biopsies is available at the touch of a finger.

The experience is better, with personalized compression that’s both less painful and more accurate. Patients can feel the comfort with personalized, soft compression that’s calculated for her specific anatomy.

It’s a unique combination of form and function.
