The Corridor4DM application includes comprehensive interactive processing and display, generation of 2D, 3D and polar maps images, calculation of ventricular volumes, myocardial mass and ejection fraction for gated SPECT studies and utilizes gated bloodpool data to calculate left ventricular Ejection Fraction. Compare perfusion and functional polar maps to gender-matched normal files, which includes additional support for attenuation correction. Also included are a normal database generator and the ability to create reports within the Corridor4DM application.

The Corridor4DM, Advanced application includes above functionality and adds the following:
cardio•Flash, a three dimensional iterative reconstruction method with resolution recovery and scatter correction, can be used to shorten myocardial perfusion imaging by as much as 50%. The reconstructed data has similar, or even better, image quality when compared to a full-time MPI scan with a conventional reconstruction using filtered back projection. To aid in patient throughput, this engine includes complete syngo® MI Workflows, specifically designed to acquire MPI SPECT scans with half-time acquisition parameters and optimized reconstruction settings and filters.

SPECT Cardiology Engines assist in the diagnosis and quantification of coronary artery disease as well as in risk stratification for acute cardiac events.

Cardiology Engine SPECT Cedars
The Cedars engine calculates a comprehensive set of cardiac parameters including ejection fractions, volumes, wall motion including right ventricular free wall motion in Quantitative Blood Pool SPECT (QBS), wall thickening, and perfusion (%). Quantitative Perfusion SPECT (QPS) allows for the quantitation of prone SPECT data and of serial perfusion changes. Both 20 and AHA-17 segment scoring models are available. In addition to calculating an Eccentricity Index, Quantitative Gated SPECT (QGS) also calculates a more regional measure of the left ventricle shape known as the Shape Index. Displays include gated slices with contours, a motion-frozen display which results in better resolution and contrast by eliminating motion of the cardiac cycle, interactive 3D images and polar maps. Manual override of contours and DICOM-compatible output are additional features. Outputs include DICOM secondary capture files, result files, as well as the ability to generate an AVI file format.

Cedars Fusion/Coronary Overlay provides information in the form of multi-modality fusion and extracted coronary artery trees from the syngo Circulation Application into the Cedars Quantitative Gated SPECT (QGS) and Quantitative Perfusion SPECT (QPS) applications for the purposes of visually enhancing the interpretation of the MPI exam. SPECT Oncology Engines provide productivity features to allow half-time acquisition, as well as advanced 3D visualization tools.

Oncology Engine SPECT
This engine includes a 3D iterative reconstruction method with resolution recovery and scatter correction. It also includes statistics-based adaptive de-noising and de-blurring of planar images and longitudinal whole body bone scans. It can be used to shorten the acquisition time of planar images, bone scans or SPECT studies without loss in image quality. This reconstruction method can also improve overall image quality with better contrast, higher resolution and decreased image noise when used to reconstruct full-time studies.
The Oncology Engine SPECT includes syngo® MI Workflows with half-time acquisition parameters and optimized reconstruction settings and filters, specifically designed to acquire whole-body SPECT scans in the time of a conventional whole body bone scans and to increase the scan speed of whole-body bone scans to shorten scan time.

The Advanced engine includes above functionality and adds the following:
A volumetric visualization technique that provides fused anatomical and functional volumes into orthogonal planes using multiple layout views or full-screen mode.
This engine provides tools to evaluate and display SPECT (and independently acquired CT) images and results, enabling customized user defined formats, image reorientation in any axis, an array of color look-up tables and filming options. Standard features include: viewing of SPECT and CT DICOM images including image fusion display for registered series; common display tools such as correlated cursors, quantitative color bar and interactive pixel value; default CT image windows; display of CT maximum intensity projections (MIP); 3D Reorientation of volume data; region of interest (ROI) and volume of interest analysis and visualization.

Oncology Engine SPECT, Premium
The Premium includes above functionality and adds the following:
Volume rendering techniques for both SPECT and separately acquired CT image data. It offers independent control of color, opacity and shading of up to four tissue classes, as well as predefined VRT (Volume Rendering Technique) settings which can be selected via an image gallery. It also offers the ability to interactively manipulate the levels of fusion ranging from CT only to SPECT only and various scaled combinations. As MPR, MIP, SSD or VRT are different visualization modes possible with the same dataset, the user can arbitrarily switch between these modes as well as switch the actual display segment to full-screen mode. All modes can be registered and linked so the image manipulations including interactive slice browsing and image rotation are viewed in synchronization.
The integrated editing package allows segmentation of 3D datasets either with manual contour creation, thresholding, or volume growing operations. Dataset confinement is possible either using a ClipBox or a variable editing slab. Image quality can be improved with morphological operators such as Erosion and Dilatation.

The Neurology Add-on adds the ability to quantify SPECT neurology examinations.

With the use of optimized workflows included in this SPECT Neurology Add-on, you can combine standardized anatomy and a comprehensive normal database with advanced fusion techniques, to enable automatic correlation of the patient’s study with an average brain for quick computation of abnormalities. The fusion engine produces results that are reliable and reproducible between multiple sessions and multiple users. The quantification tools include voxel-by-voxel and regional evaluation of abnormal brain perfusion and automatic positioning of anatomical regions of interest which are optimized for evaluation of dementia. Additional anatomical brain regions of interest are possible, which makes this application flexible to evaluate a number of neurological disorders. In addition, several anatomical regions may be selected for quick assessment of a single patient scan or for quantitative comparison to other scans. Unique fusion techniques, automated evaluation steps and comprehensive quantification tools meet the needs of the emerging SPECT, or SPECT and independently acquired CT neurological evaluations. A reporting mechanism is also incorporated to help ensure consistent patient reporting.
The SPECT Neurology Add-on also allows further qualitative and quantitative comparison of brain images by co-registration of functional data with a reference template (The Talairach atlas). Quantitative analysis of brain images in both Talairach and patient space and according to arterial basins, Brodmann’s functional areas, or user-defined areas which can be saved and reapplied to subsequent patient data. The engine also includes sequential comparison of brain function (up to 2 datasets) and comparison of functional data with a normal database.

Symbia.net offers licenses for up to five concurrent users; one at the server with up to four floating clients. Users can be added at any time. The client application can be installed on an unlimited number of computers meeting minimal requirements, with simultaneous access limited to up to five concurrent users at any given time. The Symbia.net clients can be installed by the users through a web browser.

How it works

  • Transfer existing licenses over to Symbia.net by configuring any or all
  • available applications for one user at the server
  • Save on additional user licenses (from two up to five total) with attractive
  • discounts up to 80% (60% on applications and 80% on clients)
  • Easily expand Symbia.net solution in the future with up to five concurrent
  • Users

Terms and Conditions

  • Requires Symbia.net client server purchase of two users or more
  • Eligible for license transfer are all syngo MIWP and syngo MIWP Turbo workplaces
  • that are dongle-based (typically no older than June 2006) and all syngo MI
  • Mobile computers
  • Licenses can only be transferred from stand-alone workplaces MIWP P, V and C as well as syngo MI Mobile. It does not apply to acquisition workplaces MIWP A and AP
  • Workplaces from which licenses have been transferred will be decommissioned and can be used as Symbia.net clients
