CASE HISTORY
15-year-old female patient, enthusiastic gymnast with increasing lower back pain, MR with unspecific signal alteration, no major changes after Boston Brace for six weeks.

 

DIAGNOSIS
Focal uptake was identified in the left pedicle of L5. Spondylolysis with perifocal hyperdensity in CT was suspected. Diagnosis was confirmed in conjunction with CT, xSPECT Bone and xSPECT Quant.

 

PROTOCOL
Symbia Intevo; 17 mCi [629 MBq] 99mTc MDP, 3h post injection; 37 mAs, 130 KV; 32 stops, 20 sec/stop, xSPECT Bone reconstruction.
