Leadership in Low Dose
The KLAS “CT 2011 Focused On Dose” report recognizes Siemens continuing leadership in lowering radiation dose:
“Siemens was chosen as the low-dose leader by their own customers almost 100% of the time. In addition, about 14% of GE customers, 15% of Philips customers, and 23% of Toshiba customers in this study also chose Siemens as the low-dose leader. These percentages are significantly higher than those of any other vendor.
Customers felt that with Siemens’ devotion to technology and innovation, resulting in systems like CARE Dose 4D, Siemens is truly a partner in dose reduction. "
Siemens received highest rankings for its low dose technologies as well as its low dose education offerings for physicians. Customers also gave highest points for Siemens ability to adapt existing customer protocols to utilize dose saving technologies.
As one customer summarized it: “Siemens does a really good job of trying to inform us about their great pieces of dose-reducing software. They are good at implementing the dose-reduction software and are good at motivating us and teaching us all how to use it.” *
