An Education Consultation Program for Angiography/Interventional Imaging
Siemens’ comprehensive approach to successful hybrid OR training
To ensure your facility receives the most comprehensive hybrid OR imaging equipment training possible, Siemens offers a blended learning approach – incorporating online, classroom and onsite training.
These various learning methods allow Siemens the flexibility to work hand-in-hand with your staff to administer a successful hybrid OR training program in three phases:
Phase 1: Pre-Training
ONLINE
- Radiation Safety Training for General Staff RN, RT, ST, Environmental (up to 20 learners)
- Imaging Equipment Training for Angio-trained RT staff, MD (up to 6 learners per group)
OFFSITE
- Mandatory Classroom Training at Siemens Training Center in Cary, NC for Angio-trained RT staff, MD
- Artis zee, Artis zeego and syngo Workplace System Training (1 learner per class)
ONSITE
- System Safety Training for General Staff RN, RT, ST, Environmental (up to 20 learners)
- System Safety Training and Functionality for Angio-trained RT staff, MD (up to 6 learners)
- Clinical Workflow Workshop for Core Team Members: MDs, RTs, RNs, Anesthesia, Scrub Techs (1 - 2 learners per group)
• “Mock Case” training utilizing a team approach to develop knowledge of procedures and system hardware and software. Topics may include:
Neuro, Peripheral, TAVR and TEVAR/EVAR
• Specialized training designed to develop a collaborative approach to working in the Hybrid OR Environment
• Hands-on demonstrations of the procedure and applications in mock cases show each team member their role
Phase 2: “Go Live” Training
ONSITE
- Clinical Applications support during procedures
- Training reinforcement performed during pre-applications
- 2 continuous weeks of support
- Advanced training for 3D and other system functionality
Phase 3: Ongoing Follow-Up Training
OFFSITE
- Mandatory Advanced Classroom Training at Siemens Training Center in Cary, NC for the MD and Radiology Technologist
- Advanced 3D Training
ONSITE
- Advanced Onsite Training scheduled immediately following Advanced Offsite Training
ONGOING
- Training and Support during Clinical Procedures
