With Siemens Healthineers’ unique Dual Source gantry SOMATOM Force is ideally designed: with its two sources and an outstanding rotation speed of 250 ms the heart-rate independent temporal resolution for example in cardiac imaging is now 66 ms. Improved contrast media management
Introducing FAST Bolus
FAST Bolus revolutionizes bolus tracking in contrast media imaging by supporting automated and personalized scan trigger delays to improve image quality and show a more uniform contrast attenuation. With this feature, the chance of missing the contrast media bolus may be reduced, reducing the need to rescan. The first publications show the potential of FAST Bolus to reduce the amount of iodine contrast media needed without impacting image quality.
